OCRIS was developed by SADM to give field staff an easy to use, uncluttered tool for data entry. Utilising worksheet defaults and company standard logging legends OCRIS eliminates common field entry errors associated with data-entry systems and provides an accurate and speedy logging interface:
- Collect data into a series of linked spreadsheets or take advantage of the Graphical Templates for rapid data entry
- Manage data versioning via Export Status flags automatically set by the system
- Summarise data contained within the loggers database and display calculated values
- Transfer data directly to other servers/databases or utilise OXO files if running remotely and connectivity is not possible
OCRIS runs on Windows platforms.
Comprising a number of modules including Admin, Text and Fixed Graphic OCRIS is totally user configurable and all the necessary objects to build the interface are contained in one, secure database.
- Database administrators build the logger from scratch or can use a Wizard to build from an existing database, selecting the tables and fields required for field entry and attaching pick lists to fields to ensure adherence to company logging legends.
- Build different interfaces for different activities: percussion drilling, diamond drilling, trenching, point sampling with the ability for users to select the required interface in the field.
- Support the Field System remotely by email, VPN, or physical media to update the logger interface and/or library codes.
